(Today) Islamic State is preparing to eliminate the Assyrian Christians they kidnapped in Syria, in Al-Hasaka region on the border with northeastern Iraq. 

 

The Archimandrite Emmanuel was informed the news on Monday, that the "Islamic State” has already killed 15 Assyrian Christians who were defending their villages and families.

Archimandrite Emmanuel reported that the number of abductees has risen to about 350, he stressed: "We do not know where they are held hostage. It is likely that they are in Mount Abdulaziz, an area controlled by the Islamic State."

Reliable source said Islamic State is making ready, the process of mass executions near the Bab al- Faraj mosque, in the Sunni village in the region.

Archimandrite stressed that the displaced Assyrians need help, food, water and medical care. " The freed Assyrians are in need and the Church will work on projects, to ensure a dignified life for these people in such a difficult times.

It has already allocated 2.3 million euros to many parts of Syria, including the north - eastern villages which they were attacked. It will be spent this money, which was obtained through the efforts of Assyrian donation from around the world and Christian Churches.
