Rebels arrest civilians in east Hama for reconciling with the Syrian government

On Monday morning, the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” entered the rebel-controlled villages of Abu Ajawah, Surouj, and Tal Hallawah in east Hama to arrest several civilians for reconciling with the Syrian government.

According to local reports, dissatisfied rebel fighters from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) called on their allies from Jabhat Al-Nusra and Jund Al-Aqsa (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) to arrest civilians in the aforementioned villages for making peace without their consent.

Over 80 villages in northern and eastern Hama agreed to reconcile with the Syrian government after 5 years of hostility.

Unfortunately, several rebel forces have expressed their dissatisfaction with these villagers for reconciling with the Syrian government; and as a result, a number of civilians have been arrested.
