US Official: Kurdistan receives very significant portion of US humanitarian aid

 
Washington, DC – US Secretary of State John Kerry recently visited Baghdad to announce nearly $155 million in humanitarian assistance for more than 4 million displaced Iraqis and millions of others who desperately need assistance because of the war with the terror group known as the Islamic State (ISIS).
 
How much of that aid makes it to Kurdistan, an autonomous and relatively stable region which is home to nearly 1.7 million displaced Iraqis and Syrian refugees? Are the United States and its partners doing enough to tackle the humanitarian crisis in Kurdistan?
