BAE Systems, USN are looking to grow the list of APKWS users

BAE Systems expects to see an increase in production of its Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) now that the US Air Force is using the guidance kits for the 2.75-inch unguided Hydra weapon system for its F-16 aircraft.

Additionally, now that APKWS is being used by rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft, the US Navy and BAE Systems are planning to develop a single software load for the missile instead of having a separate version for helicopters and airplanes.
