Heli-One will provide the Royal Malaysian Air Force with glass cockpit upgrades for its fleet of Sikorsky S-61s, enabling the aircraft to fly during the day and night in all-weather conditions.
This contract follows Heli-One’s recent flight display upgrades for aircraft including the Airbus AS332 and planned work on the Sikorsky S-76 platform. The design and first aircraft installation for the S-61 is expected to be completed by March 2017. The work is expected to be completed over a span of three years.
