Leonardo-Finmeccanica introduced an AgustaWestland AW119 single-engine helicopter, called the TH-119. It was unveiled at the Navy League Sea-Air Space Exhibition today in Washington, D.C. The aircraft is designed for military training customers, particularly the U.S. Navy, and features a dual-display Genesys Aerospace cockpit. Additionally, it includes a 180-degree adjustable trainer observation seat, full night vision device-compatible cockpit and cabin, re-inforced skids, cargo hook and hoist options and a five-fuel cell option for more than five hr of flight time. Like its AW119Kx commercial counterpart, it will be built at the company’s Philadelphia facility.
