With two prototypes, the N-LCA test crew has been churning out sorties from on board INS Vikramaditya. Starting with a historic arrested landing on January 12, the crew, led by Commodore Jaideep Maolankar, has completed over a dozen traps and launches, a frenetic schedule to emphasise the jet’s carrier capability amidst newly defined doubts about its future in current form.
