Pentagon Contract Announcement

This contract combines purchases for the Navy (16 percent); the government of Japan (32 percent); and the government of the Republic of Korea (52 percent), under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
This contract will specifically support FMS cases for the Republic of Korea Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, as well as requirements for the Arleigh Burke-class shipbuilding program of the U.S. Navy.
Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey (80 percent); Clearwater, Florida (19 percent); and Owego, New York (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 2022.
Fiscal 2010 and 2016 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy); and foreign military sales case funding in the amount of $490,641,347 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

This procurement covers the production of multi-mission signal processor equipment sets; ballistic missile defense 4.0.2 equipment; AEGIS weapon system AMOD upgrade equipment; and associated spares to support the fielding of AMOD capabilities to the fleet.
Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey (59.5 percent); Clearwater, Florida (40 percent); and Owego, New York (0.5 percent), and is expected to be completed by November 2018.
Fiscal 2015 and 2016 defense-wide procurement; fiscal 2014 and 2016 other procurement (Navy); fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation; and fiscal 2012 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $112,741,068 will be obligated at the time of award, and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
