Using agencies for the contract include the Army’s program executive office for simulation, training and instrumentation, Defense Health Agency, Veterans Health Administration and other Defense Department components, the Defense Department said in its Dec. 15 contracts digest.

Seven bids were submitted and awardees are:

  • CAE

  • Laerdal Medical Corp.
  • Operative Experience

The Virtual Patient Simulator System Whole Body Patient Simulators contract encompasses both multi-task trainers for multiple functional areas and part-task trainers that apply to a specific functional area of care, according to a Deltek description.
